Singles, doubles and everything in between
A kayak rental can offer a single or a double as options, each with its own name, a line of words customers read, and a price. When a customer picks a double, the booking takes a double from your count.
Tell Upwind how many of each you own and how many can be booked online. The rest stay on the rack for walk-ins.
By the hour, the half day or the day
List the lengths you rent with a price for each, or offer any length in hourly steps. Set your opening hours, with longer days for the summer dates you choose, and how often a rental can start.
Start from the Kayak or paddleboard card and the basics are filled in; you adjust what is particular to your shop.
Fit, height and the extras
Ask each rider's height when they book, in inches or centimetres, with a minimum or maximum if you need one. Bike shops can start from the Bike or e-bike card and add what they need, such as sizes.
Add-ons sell the extras: a dog, a child trailer, a photo package. The cards also offer ticks for the usual extras: a waiver everyone signs, terms to tick, a question, an add-on.
Guided tours and shuttles from the same account
Run a guided kayak tour at set times with a number of seats, or a shuttle you book with a rental at the desk. Rentals, tours and shuttles sit in one catalog and one calendar.
Book from your website, pay by card
Customers book from your own site: put the booking in the page, as a button over the page, or as a plain link. A day with only a couple of boards left shows how many are left, and a full day is simply struck through.
